Members LoC
I have an RNC 1776 and I was curious if anybody knows if one can run two amps through it. I ask because there are several input/outputs and a side chain input thing. I am really not quite sure. Check it out:http://www.fmraudio.com/panelviewspage.htm
Members Jazz Ad
I'm not sure about your question. The RNC is stereo so you can process 2 signals if you wish. Adjustements will be the same for both though. You can't run an amp from this compressor, it works at instrument to line level.
Members 82Daion
If by "run an amp," you mean the power amp output of an amp, then no. If you want to run two instrument signals through, that should be possible.

Mine worked just fine with instrument input, until it got fried by a roadie plugging it into the wrong power supply.

Members bholder
Active bass? Some yes, some no. The main bass I was using at that point, my old 80s black Carvin fretless, definitely not.
Members LoC
I don't know why you say it can't be used with an amp. I have it running through my effects loop and it works just fine. I want to know if I can have a second amp run through it as well.

Members fretless
so what's the best way to hook this thing up , Preamp to RNC , or RNC in a loop ? I have one and still don't know .
Members LoC
I stuck the RNC in my effects loop and it works great. I want to know if I can have a second amp run through it as well because it has 5 patch bays. So I was thinking that one amp could go in and out and the other could go in and out. Though I'm not sure if the signals may cross or whatever.
