Members Psilocybin
I got on an 80s kick the other day and youtubed some Duran Duran videos. It occurred to me that I had heard about their "banned in the US" video but never watched it. Talk about ahead of its time..... So many hot scandalous ladies and god bless them. I don't think I can post links that contain nipples (unless the nipples are on Lug's chest) so go to youtube and check out an uncensored version of "Girls on Film". It should pick up around 1:30 into the clip.
Members Super Bass
thanks for the tip I've actually been listening to Duran Duran a lot in the past week or two. I love the songs and I was trying to get a feel of what the sound of my new bass would be like. Its similar to the one that John Taylor played. Members T. Alan Smith
JT is awesome. I never did nail down the bassline to Rio. +1. JT's on of my biggest influences. Especially his work on the Rio album. The Chauffeur...HELLO?!?! ...and does anybody actually listen to the bass work on the title track? Between that and his work on the Notorious album...bring it on!
Members s4001
JT was definitely a big influence. You can hear a lot of the Bernard Edwards influence in his playing.
Members Psilocybin
I dig a lot of their bass lines as well.
Members bholder
I got tired of the band's sound pretty quickly, as catchy as the tunes were (or perhaps because of that), but JT's playing was always good. Also liked his stuff for Power Station (Some Like It Hot, etc.).

Members DevilRaysFan
+1. JT's on of my biggest influences. Me Too For that genre it was JT, Nick Beggs ( Kajagoogoo), and Brad Lang (ABC) that inspired me a lot......
