Members CorkyII
Of those I have actually seen there are many who could qualify. Cheap Trick, Earth Wind and Fire (in the 70s), ELP, both Chase and Chicago in the early 70s. If I had to pick one band ever it would be Stan Kenton's band in 1975. Since I don't think that's the kind of band you are getting at I will nominate Level 42.

He's been doing that for awhile now because he goes direct to the PA. The dryers are there to balance Alex's amps. You can see them running in some live videos. Members Captain Fathead
I saw them 3 weeks ago and I was pretty disappointed, expected much better. Lifeless and dull show. I saw 'em right after Talkie Walkie came out. The main guy moved around quite a bit, and they had great banter with the audience (it was in Boston, and some people started complimenting them in french. They responded graciously). The backing band was this big dude with dredlocks who alternated from a drumkit to a t-bird and some hippie looking guy on keys. One of the tightest shows I've seen. It was really relaxed and laid back, and that's why I enjoyed it. I haven't heard the newer material... Maybe they've hit a wall?
