Members Super Bass Posted October 19, 2007 Members Share Posted October 19, 2007 BUMP! I bought a set of those Optima Gold strings, very nice gold colour with gold wraps. I put them on my Elite II and it looks hot against the gold hardware. Soundwise they sound fuller than the D'addario XL's I had on there. I especially noticed the difference in the D & G strings. Most notably the G string. The tone and volume across the strings was more even.
