Members BeeTL
Don't forget to get your TV calibrated for your environment post-purchase. Many displays would look much better if someone spent the 30 minutes required to properly calibrate the display for the best picture it can offer. If this holds true for TVs like it does for LCD computer monitors, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if stores "detuned" the less expensive brands on purpose. It's the equivalent of playing a guitar that hasn't been set up or tuned.I was ready to return my new Samsung monitor until I opened the video driver control panel and followed the setup procedure. The difference was unbelievable. No, it's just a lower-end brand like Westinghouse. Vizio is sold in Wal-Mart, Cosco and Circuit City to name a few places. I will say, if I were to buy a lower-end display, Vizio really is a strong contender when it comes to picture quality.
