Members allan grossman
...here's an interesting diversion. Some bands have gone to great lengths to warn the n00bs about how hard the recording industry sucks - examples are Rush's "Limelight" and Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar". Do you know of more songs that try to show the recording industry for what it is? Please share.
Members lyricpoet
Not a song, but Hunter S. Thompson's great quote, which since I don't remember word for word, I won't mangle. I can find it, but I bet another HCBF-ite will beat me to the punch, so please do...

Members lyricpoet
AG, I've seen it a million times, and I thought Phil Lesh had it in his autobiography, but no, that was a cool quote from Henry Miller. So this is my corruption: "The music industry is full of wolves and snakes that'll eat you for lunch and then ungraciously spit you out, and then there's the bad side". Very corrupted, but it retains closely his gist. I'm surprised no one's come to my aid as of yet.
