Members Undead Sycip
WTF happened? I moved my rig about five feet. After I reconnected everything and powered up, the fault light came on and I got no sound My cab and cable work. I tested them with another amp. I opened the back of the SVT and reseated the tubes and still no sound I also noticed that one set of bias lights is off (overbiased?) and only the red one is lit on the other set (bad tube as per manual). WTH? I only moved it five feet and didn't drop it Any ideas?

Members Les_Izzmor
WTH? I only moved it five feet and didn't drop it There's your problem. You moved your amp an odd number of feet. Had you moved it 4 or 6 feet it'd be fine.
Members ministryoflower
Bummer!!! Just a thought....check your power cable. Maybe moving the pig, you tore something..... Mine is over 30+yrs,has no fan, no grill front or back, gets loaded in and out in a roadcase, down bumps, but still jumps when the standby is thrown? Members poorboy
I've heard that these later model SVT's have a issue with cold solder joints.I had to put mine in the shop where I had them go over all the joints.Cost me about $90 but It's been perfect ever since.Just a quirk, nothing too bad.
