They're doing 4x10, 6x10 and 8x10 configurations. All sealed. All almost unbelievably light (how?! how do they do it?!)

Anyone noticed how many boutique companies are doing 'classic' style cabs nowadays? There's EBS, Aguilar, Mark Bass and Eden. I'm sure more will come.

As far as I know, tho, Mark Bass are the only company who are going the whole hog and making their cabs sealed rather than ported.

Yeah Eden has released their "E" series which is their attempt at a classic style cabinet. The speakers are made under contract by Eminence to David's specifications.

They're suppossed to fill a niche somewhere between the Nemesis range and the "David" series cabs.

They're not as light as the Markbass cabs and their 210 to 610 in the E series are ported.

They kinda look a bit like the real old school Ampeg cabs.

Personally I like the metal grilles on the David series cabs, but I guess these look OK.

Nah, I emailed them. The 8x10 is not sealed but back ported. The 2x10, 4x10 and 6x10 are all front ported.

They still look like pretty cool cabs, tho.
