No matter what you get, there's always something better/different somewhere else. It seems to me that there is no one, be-all keyboard you could get that does everything. At least at a reasonable price. I mean, would I get a Roland 700gx because of the real feeling of the piano keyboard...what about synth sounds though, would I get a Moog? But wait, that sounds great but it's monophonic only. Ok, should I get this other one...no no, that doesn't do aftertouch...what bout this one....that one has a good piano, but the hammond on it sucks as do that other samples....blah blah blah. With a bass you can find that one special instrument and play that for your entire career. Spend some cash on a good amp and cabs...then the rest on beer and amphetamines...
