Members GRANKOR
of course it matters! there is only one guitar player, there isnt a wall of buzzy mids to cut through like there usually is with 2 guitar bands!

Members dDigitalPimp
i voted $$. a question for you grankor... does the neck on those warwicks start to "break in" i.e. get faster? when i played that bass in GC seemed like the open pore style wood used was slow and grabby compared to my higway one p bass satin finished neck. Members dDigitalPimp
it does kinda buff up a bit after more play yes. does it still seem slower than necks on your other basses?
Members GRANKOR
not really, it never seemed that slow to me in the first place. My Fender Jazz has a gloss finish, I would say that is the 'slowest' but there isnt' much in it really. Neck finishes dont really bother me as long as they are well done

Members Cpt. Spliff
does it still seem slower than necks on your other basses? The pores on my '85 Thump have rounded off nicely by now and is as fast as any.
Members dDigitalPimp
The pores on my '85 Thump have rounded off nicely by now and is as fast as any. im sure half of it had to do with the fact that its been sitting on the wall at GC since they opened last march. in fact they have the same 5 wicks they had when they opened. i have some love for warwick just not $2000 worth of it
