Members moody
I've done a quick search for this. I have a standard squire jazz belonging to a friend, electronics are completely stuffed (pots that go round and round, no output at the jack etc). I am looking for a wiring diagram to wire it with a volume, a blend and a tone instead of the two volume tone that is standard. If possible including values of pots etc. I'll use the cap from the old wiring as it should still be good.

Members moody
Ok, Thanks all... The only problem I have now is that one of the pickups is wired with a red and yellow wire (the other is standard black and white). I'm assuming Red = white and yellow = ground, but I'm not certain. Members moody
Am I the only one that really hates blend controls? I've been using a blend on essentially an active jazz bass for years, (bass, treble, blend and volume) and have really grown used to it. Especially with the centre indent it is just way easier to get instant balances of the sounds you want. (as opposed to turning up one and turning down the other, or trying to perfectly balance the two volumes for hum reduction). To me a blend just makes sense?
