Members James Hart
Not sure if anyone has seen this or cares... but I recorded bass through one back in the 80s with killer results (recordings are long since lost to time). They have re-issued the X100B and offer it in a few killer colors even. Switchable bias for 5881 / 6L6GC / EL34 usage. https://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=X100B here are the colors
Members fealach
Nice. Now they just need to reissue the metal grilled cabs with EVM12Ls, and they'll have a great matching cab that's equally cool with guitar or bass. Too bad EVM12Ls cost $98,453.21 each now. I suppose it's worth it though, they do say "black label" on them in that kewl Zakk Wylde font. Wonder how they stack up to the old ones.
Members James Hart
actually the "Black Label" and "classic" sell individually. The classic go for about $200 a piece... the ones I bought in the mid 80s were similarly priced. Zack's go for $250 each But yeah, a EVM-12L loaded matching cabinet with the old school metal grill would be nice.
