Members Captain Fathead
I like most Kubrick (except for EWS)...but Dr. Strangelove is one of the best. Full Metal Jacket is too obvious, but I love it just the same. I've got a love/hate relationship with Full Metal Jacket. Wrote one two many papers on it in college, so now it's kinda ruined for me when I pop it in. Kubrick is still one of my top three directors. He's in the #3 spot. Members Captain Fathead
Who's #1 and #2? Steven Spielberg and Werner Herzog. Sometimes they flip-flop for that position, depending on my mood.

Members groutt
+1 Had a director that actually even understood the concept of gravity.....REMARKABLE! Yeah. And you can't hear nuthin. It's not like here, it's space. It's different. I think the silence was a big part of the feeling of isolation when he's floatin' around out there. I honestly think you ought to calm down, take a stress pill, and think things over.

Members El Glom-o
One of my favorites. I was in 6th grade in the fall of 1968. We took a class trip to a theater in downtown Baltimore to see it. Of course, "Dr. Strangelove" is another favorite, along with a lesser-known, early Kubrick movie, "The Killing".
