Warwick Corvette Standard Fretless???

Had a standard active corvette for awhile. Heavy bass with its bubinga body. Good bass, but jazz type pups dont work well for me compared to reg humbucker type. Diff a try it before buy type bass due to heavier then average instrument weight and not your average bass voice. Did not like the passive version I had tried due to excessive pup hum. Figures the active version has hum cancelling circuitry of some sort.

with all due respect, the fretless is a WHOLE different beast than the fretted version. I know guys who hate Warwicks who love this particular bass.
