Members Johnny_Crab
Three. Not in any particular order. Ishi and Guitar Shelter would be more likely to suit your need(s). Guitar Shelter folks are great(their web page doesn't show current stock, email them!). Ishibashi. Members Mr.Mow
Ishibashi are great, I've had at least 10 guitars sent to australia by them, very honest and great to deal with. Check out their second hand page (the Ubox)
Members Jazz Ad
Just so you know, these shops aren't allowed to send new CIJ Fenders abroad anymore.
Members Super Bass
ISHIBASHI! I've ordered from them 3 times (2 basses and a guitar), each time has went really smoothly. I'm very happy with the purchases I made from them and will probably buy from them again. http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box They have a sale on used equipment on this weekend!!! Members Super Bass
It doesn't say how much. I asked one of my colleagues earlier who is from Japan. She said there were no specific details, just that there's a sale at the weekend on the used guitars. I saw it in the advert banner on the Ubox. Members Super Bass
There are some really sexy basses on there, but on brands I'm unfamiliar with. Bacchus, grassroots, etc.... Bacchus are a brand from Deviser... who also make Headway guitars and STR Basses. Most of the Bacchus models are bootiful! But they make a few cheap chinese ones too. The Japanese ones are amazing to play and hear. I've played a few Japanese Bacchus guitars (Les Paul, Les Paul with P90's and a strat) The strat was superb! Grassroots are a budget brand of ESP, they're made in China I think? Ishi is great to order from but their site is a bit lame, if you tell them what you want they can get it for you. The japanese get loads of cool stuff that doesn't appear on the sites, you just need to dig around a bit. Over the last year I've come across a 1979 'Heerby' Ric bass copy which just rocks like a mad thing, a 1979 Greco fretless (mint condition, turns out was a custom factory order), a 1967 Yamaha SB bass and a Fernandes 'crystal' Jaguar copy.. again is a one off custom order.. Its out there, just gotta keep your eyes open!
