Members #6
Anyone familiar with this town? I'm heading there for a familt get together next week, and wondering about restaurants, and other good things that might be there. Anyone have any info? Take a trip to San Antonio (NM...not Texas), and get a Green Chile burger from the Owl Bar! You won't be sorry!

Here's a list of restaurants to go to depending on your food tastes: http://www.ruidoso.net/visitors/dining.html It's been awhile since I've been there but it was very nice. Members Rob Martinez
Ruidoso is a beaufitul mountain town. Don't expect Santa Fe-like New Mexico, though. It is more like little Texas! Havins said that there is a beautiful resort there Inn of the Mountain Gods, and cool restaurants along the main street. Enjoy the mountains and great scenery. Ruidioso is a bit of a drive to San Antonio, NM at least an hour. But if you are jonesin' for a green chile cheeseburger, they are legendary! Cloudcroft is a cool mountain town not too far away. Go to the Lodge, a Bavarian style hotel. The saloon has a wood bar that as brought from Chicago, used to belong to Al Capone!
