Members Thunderbroom
If a device (cellphone in this case) is charged via a MicroUSB connection, will any MicroUSB charger work? Is it a standard?
Members bassthumpintwin
Most of the time I believe it will. I used to charge my RAZR with a standard micro USB connector. I think some digital cameras use a slightly different size cord though. Not sure if this is true for some phones.
Members Super Bass
Check the mW rating, but it should be ok.
Members Zeromus-X
Some phones use an adapter with a chip in it. For example, I've got a Motorola Q9C. It's got a standard microUSB connector, but if I plug in a non-Motorola charger, it won't charge. I can plug it into a PC's USB port and charge it with any cable, though. Members Thunderbroom
My wife has a Samsung Rant and needs a car charger. I could spend $20+ at the Sprint store for an official charger. I'm guessing any old charger on eBay or other online source that advertises itself as compatible will work. And Z-X...I busting my LV Cherry next week! Members Texas Noise Factory
I found a free download of the driver Windows asks for when you plug a Razr into your PC (to charge it). Without that, it did not work for me. The programs's not very big at all. Let me see if I can find it on my HD.
