Don't know too much about Jay Turser basses but saw this on Daddys.com and couldn't help but be intrigued, it's beautiful (or at least what you can see is). But i have also been looking at an SX for a while now. Which would be the better deal since they end up being the same price after tax+ship.?

provided everything is working ok it'd be good.

om nom nomm . . . looks tasty for only $175; but I need to see the headstock too

my buddy Dave, who is probably the best bassist I've ever known personally (now lead guitar in my/our little band), keeps a white a BCRich P style (probably a bit newer than that one) as his main bass; has been jamming it for about ten years since his Hagstrom was stolen;

he loves it and doesn't want to change out.

I'm sure if you asked you could get a few more pics... or at least a vague description of the headstock. It's probably pointy.
:idk:

nah, I'm not shopping; I just liked the looks of it -- black on white, no pickguard, P/J config, nice bridge, a sorta-elongated body (isn't it?), also the shark-tooth/triangle inlays are a nice touch; overall, a bit different, and relatively inexpensive.

I'm guessing it's an old one (searched but couldn't learn anything really; sorta like the Innovator series, but older I think), but wonder why it isn't worth more than that. Maybe it's a P.O.S.

that said, I would like to know more about it and see a full photo; maybe I'll email Daddy's.

but I won't be buying it; I have my eye on a different cheapie :evil:

after looking at many photos of BCRich basses, the one my friend loves so much appears to be an (early?) eagle with one humbucking P and 2+2 tuner config.; I know he didn't pay much for it.
