Members Hotblack
At rehearsal this evening, we're running through songs for the next gig. One of them is "I'm Eighteen" from Alice Cooper. As we're playing it, a couple of guys duck their heads in to check us out. We don't think much of it and finish. After we're done, they introduce themselves. Turns out one of the fellows is Dennis Dunaway, Alice's bass player. How's that for coincidence?

Members The Insomniac
That guy can lay down a serious bass line. That's pretty cool. Where the hell do you practice? - I'm still practicing in Gwain's basement...

Where the hell do you practice? - I'm still practicing in Gwain's basement... It's just a local studio in Yonkers, NY, Primetime. He was there recording his new project 5th Avenue Vampires. Also with him was Richie Scarlet, former bassist for Mountain.
Members georgestrings
That guy can lay down a serious bass line. I agree - I played in a Coop trib act for a few years, and playing those bass lines *properly* kept me on my toes... Very cool story, HB... - georgestrings
Members bnyswonger
I saw Alice Cooper right before I'm 18 broke. It was my second real rock show - I was 14. They absolutely blew me away - very together band and all pretty decent musicians - plus they they had the look. We played a lot of their stuff in various high school bands - it rocked and wasn't beyond our singing and playing capabilities. I have tons of respect for Dennis. Members Bogster
Damn cool, HB. Maybe the next time we play our Pantera cover at practice, Rex will pop in to give us a listen.
