Members soapbladder
Does anybody know of any software that tracks pitch as you sing into it. I suppose a plug-in tuner could do the trick if it tracked fast enough. Basically I'm been thinking about something that could do the rock-band trick of showing whether I'm sharp or flat. I'm generally chronically flat and have a hard time hearing it. Thanks!! SB

Members Jersey Jack
That's what the website says: "Sing & SeeTM - Singing Software for real-time visual feedback of the voice in vocal training"

Members blue2blue
If one goes for the latter, one should definitely shop around on the pricing. The basic version on the publisher's website is nearly double what the software costs on Amazon.
Members GreenAsJade
Sing And See is real time, and my experience is that it is good and "stable" (IE you can definitely believe what you see: there are no mysterious behaviours). It also records as it goes, so you can play back. Every little wobble in your pitch that it draws on the screen you can hear as it play back: very educating. I have no connection with the company, just telling you my experience. GaJ

Members GreenAsJade
FWIW, I was surfing around today and came across this: http://www.singintune.org/ looks like a direct competitor/rip-off of sing and see. It appears to have the added feature of being able to load a midi file and compare your voice to that, which would be nice. Since I have sing & see, I haven't tried this one, but if someone does it would be nice to know about it... GaJ
Members Throatsinger
Try a chromatic tuner with a built-in mic, like most are. Works well for ear/voice training. Cheap and effective. But practice with it until your pitch is good, rather than trying such gimmicks in the studio or performance.
