NAD... How'd I do?

The Vintage Voltage expo was neat and I scored this for $50... I haven't a clue about it other than it's 200W and that Kasino has something to do with Kustom and it was made in Kansas. The dude said it's from 1972 & it works... I didn't plug it in or anything so hopefully he's right. :idk: I figure anything with three bass knobs can't be bad, right?

I "received" a free Kasino 2x15 cabinet once. Neither speaker worked. I took the front off, rewired it a bit, installed two speakers, and it rocked my world for over a year. I replaced it with a 2x15 Peavey (back in early 90's or so).

I love the knob labels...

This thing is way louder than my Bassman 135 and belts out the awesomest ball rattling distortion of any amp I've ever played. A keeper, to be sure but it's hard to tame the distortion. It fits real well in my band right now but I'll need to keep my Bassman rig for cleaner tones for sure. It's the best $50 I've ever spent on music gear though. I'm super happy.

And are all 3 knobs the same bass frequency?

Ha, no but to be honest I didn't really play around with it too much... I just turned everything up full blast & ripped it! :D I'll mess with it some more on Tuesday though & let you know if anything changes. So far, it's just meat to be turned to 11 & rocked.

I predict a short lifespan for it if that's your MO.
