OT: Help to optimize this cab as a small PA subwoofer

Good polyfill, I like polyester high loft batting for this will help bass difinition and so on. However main thing for a subwoofer is it has to go well below 50Hz for it to be a real subwoofer. Should easilly handle 30Hz and even 20hz signal actually. So, the speakers used have to be able to do just that with good articulation in properly sized and ported cab. The main thing then is gonna be replaceing the stock speakers with actual subwoofer capable ones.

You could use two 3015LFs in there probably without much issue. It's a little small and the port area is a little shy but it'd work OK up to the volume of your mains I think.

I can't tell what the tuning is but I would guess it will be somewhat high. If that's the case you rip out the port shelf and make it deeper. But modeling shelf ports can be kinda challenging.

That cab is one of the best sounding 2X15's ever (with it's original speakers). I've had one since 1977. Not a huge amount of bottom, but enough for bass guitar use.

Even better than your Pandora and headphones?
