Looking for a bassist

Hey all,

 

The band I am in now needs a new bassist. We are located in Glen Burnie, MD, about 20 minutes or so outside of Baltimore. We are trying to be a five piece/with two guitarists, myself being one. We are all pretty open to playing any type of music, except country I guess. Some songs we have been throwing around so far include Candlebox, Alice in Chains, Black Crowes, STP, Killers, 3 Doors Down, etc. We all range in age from 23 to 28 and try to get together once a week, so lemme know if you are interested in coming out and checking it out.

So many bands, so few bassists. Even fewer good ones.

 

I'm in the same boat.

 

If I could do it all over, I'd probably have picked up the bass, so much opportunity for the most mediocre of bass players out there.

Get rid of the age suggestions and concentrate on the music. I remember spirit having a bald, much older drummer. Kicked Ass! It's not the age, it's the attitude.

I've always had some luck with the local music store's message boards. I still check them when I stop by. Some people are also using Craig's list.
