Members lespaul1964
Hey guys. I am doing a Pink Floyd tribute type thing and need to find the buzz sound on Hey You after "and the worms ate into his brain", right before the final verse. We would like to do this on a Korg M-50. Can anyone guide me to it? All other sound effects are pretty much covered. Thanks.
Members ggm1960
I'm hearing three different sounds there. One is a chime, another is the chirpy sound you get when you sweep the resonance knob around the right spot in relation to the freq knob on an analog synth filter and the last is an airy/string synth sound warbling less than a 1/2 step. My Korg workstation is older than the M50 but these days I have better luck creating sounds with soft synths myself. My Korg didn't come with an editor program but my Roland Fantom XR synth (and XP-30 as well) came with great editor programs that really allow one to get into the unit and tweak on filters and such.
