Members jeff42
Ok here's something for you guys... can anyone think of a good way of covering this tune without keys? we did it in the last band and our guitarist can do a decent steve perry. We almost tried it as a slower acoustic number when we were a semi-acoustic act but now that we have heavied it up we wont be slowing it down... We may try and medley it some how with any way you want it and/or don't stop (again without the keyboard) I figure this beats a music stand/shorts conversation. Members TrickyBoy
Honestly, I never thought of the song, but it would be super easy to pull off without keys. I'll go as far as to say, the keys are in inconsequential part of the tune. Just picked up my guitar and worked out a decent version in about a minute.I'll try to record what I came up with for you. Have to wait for Meagan to wake up though - lol.
Members wheresgrant3
Totally achievable without keys.... in fact I remember seeing someone cover it straight acoustic over the years.
