Members msmooth Posted May 8, 2013 Members Share Posted May 8, 2013 After coming to this forum for over a year, playing a few solo gigs (in addition to my band), and looking for a duo partner..... my band is breaking up and the keyboard player/other lead vocalist has agreed to do a duo with me. Instead of acoustic guitar and other guitar or bass it will be me on guitar/bass and vocals and him on keys and vocals.I'm pretty stoked about it. He is a better singer than I am and keys will change the whole dynamic. We have 1 last gig as a band, but we have already started rehearsing for the duo. Hopefully out and playing in a few weeks. Remember that with a duo, there is nobody to throw a deciding vote, you gotta compromise but any issues are usually resolved quicker.
