Does anybody have any experience with this brand? Are they good? Theres not much online about them, and I cant find the picture to show you. I need something to replace my SS CRATE SPA-200. Usually official pages are just for showing off. if behringer is good like they say on their website we'd all use one. I have a filling that this would be my first tube poweramp! Members alekke Posted February 17, 2009 Author Members Share Posted February 17, 2009 I bought the KITTY HAWK in the end.It turned out that the transformers weren't original. I changed all the tubes, fixed the bias to hot and changed the capacitors. I'm not really thrilled with sound as I was a SS player till now.Sound is more aggressive and more noisier than before. Even feedback is stronger. It does have much more compression and crunch and its bigger sounding but I dont know, didnt use to that. I used to headroom.I'll give it a chance for a few months, and if still have second thoughts, I'll go back to SS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
