Members jkg
I'm putting together a small rig for some gigs I have out of town, and I'n going to use my Yamaha DG Stomp, and I found a Marshall 8008 power amp on the local used gear store ($ 200.00 dlls) , how good is it'??? I already have (2) 1X12 marshall cabs. I have a 3 space rackbag where I plan to put everything. Please let me know your opinions. Thanks
Members Spacehog26
They're pretty decent... great for wet cabs in a w/d/w scenario, too. Just don't do as I did with my first one, and accidentally feed both channels into a cab switched to mono... they don't like that! 2nd one I got (both have been the old black face models, picked up cheap on eBay) has worked a treat for a long time. Members jimosity
I had a gold faced one that I still frequently kick myself for parting with.Great little power amps, I'm sure another will end up in my collection before too long. Members bigjd
I used to use the one I had for everything but guitar sometimes.Monitor amp, practice PA amp, bass amp. It was a great little workhorse. I miss it.
