Members Phantasm
What's a good vocal mic for a Female vocalist, something in the Joan-Jett-singing-european-metal sort of variety? All suggestions are appreciated.
Members tlbonehead
E-V used to make one that was intended for female vocalists. 357?,I think.
Members Kid Klash
Well, there's the old standby Shure SM-58. If you've tried the Shure SM-58 and feel you need a smoother mic with extended high-frequencies, check out the Audix OM-2 and the Sennheiser E835S... they're both less boomy-sounding (less proximity effect), without the peaked mids, but with extended high ends. They're all about the same price as an SM-58 also. See if you can try some of these before you buy.
