Members thunderpaw
Would it cause any electronic havoc to attach a relatively strong magnet to the rear of a Mackie CFX series mixer in order to temporarily mount a gooseneck lamp? Members Johnw
No, I woundn't think it would cause any harm. I think I would try it and srr what happens. If it does cause some interferance or havoc, simply replace the magnet with some velcro. That is what I use on some of my smaller mixers. Members kevinnem
well magnrtic fields are useally use for a) stearing elections, or B) storeing energy. In inductor it is the change in the magnetic field, and you really don't have any elcrto emitors that I think would be adversely effected. Should work. Members agedhorse
Shouldn't be a problem since the magnetic field is not changing. Static field shouldn't cause any interference.
Members thunderpaw
Thanks for the advice, all! Being from Florida, the concept of steering (stealing?) elections makes me a tad jumpy! Kim
