Members Say Ocean
What is the best way to make the live sound less muddy but not harsh, besides tightening up the band?
Members WynnD
Muddy IMO is always too deep or too much bass. roll off the bottom end always works for me. I also believe that there is waaaayyy too much subs being used and bass shouldn't be 20 db higher than everything else. (Compare the C and A weighting on your db meter. I keep them close to each other.)
Members guitarharv52
Does your mixer have a mid shift on the channels?I like the way it cleaned up our vocals without changing the main EQ.

IF your sound depends on massively out of proportion subs, aux feeding the subs is an approach that will help considerably.
