Members Syyle
Where do I hook in monitors on my mixing board? What is usually the universal port for this?
Members boomerweps
Monitors as in recording to listen? Just use the main outs. Monitors as in live performance? Normally use one of the first few numbered Auxilary Outputs. Make sure it is marked, or selected to if switchable, PRE Fade. This means the signal is taken off prior to that input channel's fader so that if yoou change theat channel's fader to alter the main audience mix, the monitors are NOT affected. The Aux Out MAY have a master output knob, many do not. You control the monitor mix by altering EACH and every input channel's Aux Out knob of the same number. I.e., Aux one is monitor mix one, Aux two is monitor mix two. Some mixers may just have one pre and one post Aux fader (Post follows the input channel fader, best for FX) but they may have several of each and some may be switchable between pre and post. In your gear list, there is no mixer that I recognize. What are you using? Boomerweps

Members tlbonehead
i can't remember the exact model of my mixer, it's a Behringer 2442XA or something in that vein... Is it the larger older console model or the newer small rackmount model? There were two models with the # 2442 in them.
Members Syyle
definitely the older one. i see about 2 separate mono aux returns, 6 aux sends, and 2 pairs of little aux knobs on each channel/input. and i also see a "pre" button in each aux section of each channel.
