Members Zoey Wren Lewis
I bought a used KORG karma because I saw it on stage so many times and wanted something light weight where I could play basic backgrounds with my band while they take over the rhythm. I used to have a KORG 01/W and thought I'd find those sounds in the Karma, but a lot of the sounds are not working, and I don't really need all the bells and whistles. On the other hand, if I can just find some great pads, piano, soft synth leads, that is what I am looking for...I'm just not finding them! Is there a way to load new sounds onto the Karma, or even the 01/W sounds that I used to work with? Help me fall in love with my Karma! Ha ha...
Members badpenguin
Use MIDI to use the Karma as a controller, and the 01W as the sound source. And I am sure there are patches available for the Karma. Check the Korg website, I am sure something is there. Here is the link to the forums. Members Zoey Wren Lewis
Thanks for the reply! I really appreciate it. When you say use MIDI, how does this look in a live setting? Thanks!
