Members mhsiii
Is there any reason that a freeze pedal can’t go in an amp’s effect loop? I want to put it at the end of my signal chain so I can freeze a chord with, say a chorus, and then solo over it with a different effect. At the end of my chain I’m in stereo, so a freeze can’t go there. There are effects in my HD Pro X, so I’m thinking I could put a freeze the loop after those. Members Mr.Grumpy
It will *probably* work, but it depends entirely on how your amp's effects loop is designed. My crummy SS Marshall at least has a switchable input/output level on it's effects loops, other amps are probably full-on "line level' and may distort when used with a guitar pedal. You'll just have to try it and see how it works. (very unlikely to actually cause damage to your effect pedal.)
