Myself I would spend money on Behinger before Phonic,and that isn't likely either.I believe the StudioLive willbe OK!!! Lol FWIW, I own TWO of the Helix mixers (12 & 24ch.) and for what I paid for them ($150 and $340, respectively) they are a bargain and have held up very well. Did Phonic cut corners to make a price point, yes. Are there things I don't like about them, yes. Can I record 18 tracks at a time but not have a heart attack if someone drops the mixer case, Yes.
