Members blkmonday
like the title says...a buddy of mine owns a small local bar..they are looking to upgrade his little house p.a. the bar is small and currently has 2 crate 15's with horns...they are asking about jbl mr825s...guess they got a guy there trying to sell them for 300 bucks.i have no experience with that model so i wasnt sure if thats reasonable..not sure what they look like. he said they have them there and they are set up and sound great...but compared to those crates...behringers might sound greatany idea what those jbls are worth?:poke:

Members agedhorse
They are an "ok" speaker but be sure everything really works. They are getting long in the tooth and were replaced by the MR-900 series then the MP-200 series, then JRX etc.
Members blkmonday
yea i just noticed an online used place here has them for 200 each with a warranty....needless to say my buddy bought them. i dont think they got ripped off...but i think he should have researched them first...personally i think i would have passed..or at least opened them up to make sure they are actually jbl's

Members banddad
We started with those very speakers, but didn't keep them for long. The Yamaha Club series sounded much better (which we're still using for monitors).
