I'd be glad that it is an OM7... it could be worse and the singer has his PG58... I've been happy with Audix OM5s... A close second & third choices are the Groovtubes Convertable and the SM58. That's for my voice. I own both and use them on a regular basis. All of the folks Iv'e worked for like them too. Iv'e also had a lot of requests for a Senn 935.
