Members scarecrowbob
Whithout context it is tough, but it looks like a flag. You know, the thing that goes on the newscaster's mic when they are on camera on location? Except that it has been placed down on boom arm. Members jwlussow
Yep. Looks like a flag to me too. It's on a bunch of the stands.
Members jwlussow
Don't see anything plugged into it. It's on the stand, not the mic. It looks like an advertising flag.
Members Rezrover
It's on the stand, not the mic. It looks like an advertising flag. And it doesn't look like there is anything is plugged into it.
Members dennis a
Don't see anything plugged into it. I don't see anything plugged into it either but I can't see it well enough to confirm that. I have seen a few bands mount proximity switches on vocal mics in a similar location...the mic isn't plugged directly into it in this case but it is still possible. Members trevcda
I was gonna say he's wearing my rather large aunt's left bra cup on his head until I saw the green arrow! I believe everyone's right- it's a broadcast flag with the "Amp It Up" logo on it. Probably cheaper than watermarking or placing a logo in the lower corner, yet still leaves no doubt as to where it came from.

Members JohnnyGraphic
About one minute into the video, you can clearly see the box thingy. The other thing is a Shure SM58, but it's not plugged into the box thingy. Weird.
