Members Gizzyboo
Guys, I got a gig this weekend and haven't used my MixWiz in a while. Looking at the buttons last night and forgot what the HPF button is for on each channel.
Members flanc
High pass filter. It cuts everything below 80hz (I think). engage it on every channel except: bass, kick, keys, floor tom, ipod/music...etc.
Members flanc
From the manual: HPF Switches in the channel high pass filter. This attenuates frequencies below 80Hz by 12dB per octave. The filter is pre-insert, pre-EQ. Select the HPF to reduce low frequency noise such as microphone popping, stage noise and tape transport rumble. CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted November 3, 2010 CMS Author Share Posted November 3, 2010 ?? What? Doesn't your bi-plane have a reel-to-reel tape? Hang on a sec, and I'll get my bag phone out to call someone who can mail me a mimeograph copy of what they look like....

I do get a most annoying rumble when I transport my gaff tape across the stage wearing my work boots..... Winston

The gestetner machine is broken, so the mimeograph is out, maybe a detailed telegram will suffice. Back when tape rumble was an issue, I don't remember many MI boards that had HPF - of course that could just be my failing memory...
