Members scarecrowbob
I thought that you guys might get a kick out of the SR system at the local little theater: It is about doorway height over a 300 person theater, with the seating raised such that the ears of folks about half-way back in the audience are level with the bases. You can see the pair of subs up near the top. This set is to one side of the stage, and there is another set on the other side of the stage. Who knows... maybe they are running in stereo? I have no idea how that system evolved or why it up like that. Maybe someone donated the bose sticks, and they are just making them work. Maybe they purchased them, and this is an example of misguided amateur work. Couldn't say. I can say that it isn't working very well. It is very muddy, at least where we were sitting. It really isn't my place to do anything about it or say anything about it to the folks who run the place, but it is kind of a unique installation and I thought I'd share. Members agedhorse
Interesting idea poorly executed. Shows how little their marketing materials actually sunk into the brains of their customers eh?
Members Dogoth
But if you cut them in half and put a flame on top they would look like really cool giant candles (burn baby burn :-)
