Members Samilyn
Glen was such an influence on me during my learning/playing/performing years. I still love his recordings and have missed him since he stopped recording and performing. He was one helluva player and performer. RIP, Glen. May the great guitar in the sky play like butter and sound like all the angels in heaven. You will be sorely missed here on Earth. Your music will always be Gentle on my Mind, no matter how long I manage to live. PS: Glen, I had a crush on you when I was in 7th grade. It made me play better because I hoped to make the big time and be as good as you.
Members DeepEnd
He'll be missed for sure. As I said in a different thread, here wasn't much Glen Campbell left thanks to Alzheimer's. I hope he's out of his pain now.
Members Samilyn
I missed the different thread and your comment. Alzheimer's is so cruel. I saw a vid of one of his last concerts. He forgot the order of his set and his daughter gently and diplomatically set him straight as to which song was next.
