The theater peeps had an "Accident" and blew on of my EAW LA212 monitors (compression driver). So I called up and asked EAW for a replacement. They quoted me $194 for the replacement Diaphragm (ouch!). They said it was in stock and could be shipped out the next day. I went to ask about some other parts that I want to have as spares, and the fellow disocvered that he had misquoted me, that the Diaphragm wasn't in stock, jsut the enitre driver assembly, which cost $330. But he honored the original price he quoted. I offered to let him takethe diaphragm out of the driver and keep that as a spare, but he refused. So I got a brand new driver assembly.
