I understand why - that satin neck is an absolute joy. I've owned and tried and few other LP, but nothing seems to compare to it. Some sounded pretty close, but the full finish meant they weren't as nice to play. My Vigier Expert has a satin neck too. A great great neck to play, makes for a fantastic Stratocaster.
