Members KeysMan
A pair of SR4718X subs in good condition recently came up on my local Craigslist for $1000, and I was wondering whether I should look into them or save up to go with a pair of PRX618S-XLF that I was planning on getting. I have a QSC PLX1804 that I could use to power the subs with already. Any thoughts?

Members KeysMan
What are they worth? I found another pair on ebay listed for $700, which is probably more reasonable. I should also mention that I'm running PRX612's as tops. Will the mix of powered tops with passive subs cause any phase type problems?
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted March 5, 2012 CMS Author Share Posted March 5, 2012 $700 is definitely a better price point to start with. I'd consider $1000 to be reasonable for a pair of SR4719X (the dual-18" version). Your choices are apples vs oranges though. Since you have active tops, I'd consider matching them with active subs. Members Don Davis
Over the past 3 years I purchased 4 of the SR4718X at $400 each. 700-750 for the pair would be fair.
Members agedhorse
I would suggest saving your money and really take the most logical step and buy a pair of 618XLF's. That way you get the power AND processing and it's done right.
