Moderators Red Ant Posted September 15, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted September 15, 2015 E7#9? When I first saw this thread there were no chords posted and the B section sounded to me like Bm so that's what I played. And it worked... because E7 (the #9 is just a tension builder, it doesn't alter the chord's function) and Bm are both diatonic in the key of A, Bm being the ii and the E7 being the V. And its odd that you didn't see the chords, as I posted them right when I created the OP.
Members moogerfooger
I haven't tried to play lead anything for quite a while. the last section, where it comes out of the never ending E part isn't too bad. Members onelife
I like it. Nice movement in the early Rhodes bits (CP4?). I like the flow of the slightly understated guitar towards the end - nice 'boxy' tone too.
Members moogerfooger
Thanks Actually that's a logic Rhodes sound And the guitar is a 335 through my tremolux clone
Members onelife
I noticed the guitar had a bit of "The Royal Scam" flavour to it.

Moderators Red Ant Posted October 3, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted October 3, 2015 I like how the two Rhodes blend!!! Nice Hammond touch too! And the guitar playing is killer! That Mortatrem sounds mean!
Members Opposite Day
Man, took me a combination insomnia and procrastination to finally post in here, but finally. Love the track! Take is "unpolished" at best and kinda ran out over the edge of the cliff coyote style at the end, but oh well.

And of course, the results do not disappoint And I heard that "squib cakes" lick again! Hehe thanks! Yeah, if I find my third finger is on the 4, there's a pretty good chance that's gonna get played. Really dug yours. Really crisp and the chromatic 4th thing was awesome! Gonna give that and the others a closer listen later. Gotta head off and see the Martian now.
