Members Al Poulin
Al, how would you compare the sound of the DXR 15 to a Yorkie NX750P? I recently had some experience with the NX750P and was pretty impressed. Extended/strong low frequency response is similar in bothcabinets but the DXR15s sound better in the mids and highs IMO. The processing in the Yamaha is also probably much better than what is in the Yorkville if it is similar to the processing in my NX55Ps... Members Bobby1Note
I recently had some experience with the NX750P and was pretty impressed. AudioFanzine Magazine lab-tested a bunch of 15" active boxes a few years back, including the NX750P, and they were very impressed too. Measured LF extension was -3dB at 45Hz. You can find the article here (in French). The graphs however, are "multi-lingual" http://www.sharepdfbooks.com/ When you open this page, scroll down, and you'll see a little box, which asks you to enter a 4-digit code. You'll also see a countdown timer. Do not hit "search" until the timer reads zero.
