Members Idunno
I'm gonna be 60. R&R is a memory rapidly in the making. There are no torch bearers with the energy to relight the fires. EdBega's statement that the Baby boomers are a tough act to follow pretty much nails it. No current generation's instant gratification philosophies will replace the hard practiced results that preceded them. They can't because they won't. The genre will live on in cover work, which is another way of saying in syndication, because there's money in keeping it on a morphine drip. Its appreciative audience is going the way of Sinatra fans.
