I hear you. I definitely agree regarding the PRX being a small step above the K's (though perhaps about the same as the KW's, which I have never heard?). Anyway, the weight of the DSR's isn't really much of a factor to me, to be honest. If the DSR112 will sound better than the PRX612m, even just a little for live applications of my band, then I would have to consider them seriously even with the extra weight.
