Members the_big_e
I'm trying to setup a busking rig around my keytar so all battery power. I have a couple of pedal I use with my main rig, a jamman solo xt looper and a harmony-m voice dohickey for the vocals (coz I need all the help I can get!). I'm thinking of adding a zoom chorus stomp box as well (or something similar) but that's it. The looper is is wall wart powered and takes 9v. The harmony-m is also wall wart powered and takes 12v! I assume any other pedal would be 9v. I'm looking for some sort of external battery powered setup. I've seen something for 9v but that leaves my 12v box out in the cold so I really need something that can power it all. I 'could' use a small 12v motorcycle battery and build myself a regulator to convert voltages and isolate each supply but I'm wondering what else might be out there. Suggestions? Thanks
Phil O'Keefe
There's the Pedaltrain Volto, but that's 9V and doesn't have a 12V output on it. I'm unaware of anything available commercially with a 12V output - sorry. http://pedaltrain.com/products/power/volto.php
Members Richard Guy
Five 1N4007 diodes in series will get you real close to nine volt operation using a 12 volt source.
