Members Teletypist
SOLD A Gold Tone BB400 Bass Banjo. Just got this and even though it adds a distinctive tone to the repertoire the band mates insist I keep dragging the upright around with me (an image thing with them) It's used but in very good condition (no major cosmetic issues other then the previous owner "modified" the "Gold Tone" headstock decal. Plays well, the neck is in great shape. The head is also in good condition. Mfg specs (some sound samples also): http://www.goldtone.com/products/details/w/instrument/81/BB-400-Bass-Banjo Pictures: http://s498.photobucket.com/albums/rr345/JeRevienBand/GoldTone%20BB400/ Mostly interested in a guitar or bass trade. Members RedsFan75
Can honestly say I've never seen anything like that! My laptop speakers aren't that good, but it seems to have a 'sharper' tone, almost a slap bass tone to it? Or is that just the sound samples? Or is that just the sound samples? Like a banjo the harmonics are quite prominent. It's very sensitive to the placement of the pickup, because that sits in direct contact with the head. It kind of acts like a movable sound post. It is also sensitive to string selection. Rounds have a lot of "Zing", flats a good thump. Takes a while to learn to minimize finger noise which seems amplified because of the head.

Members Teletypist
Had a few inquiries regarding amp trades: the only two things I'm looking for are another Genz-Benz Neox212 cab and an acoustic Shen LT.
